The simple lives we thought we led
Were never what they seemed…
Wrought through lies & schemes devised to
Quash the potency of dreams.
Architects cast brutal scapes
A stage set under shadows creep
Caging instinct and intellect
Dark mechanics kept most asleep.

Sleight of hand accomplished much
Worship of self, vanity lauded
Perpetual motion, unyielding debt
Our laws, values & language disordered.
Lives structured on shifting sands
Under weighted skies of toxic deceit
To crush His image, in which we are made.
Tricks to disguise the evil they entreat.

To feel the spark and fall in love
Connect to form the whole.
Thwart the spirit, they never could
We are Children of light, heart and soul.
Charis guides our family through…
Beyond their reach, above the chaos
Protected by the Armour of God
Warriors lit… Entheos.
