Most of the power banks I have tried before have been the standard black bricks with perhaps a small LED screen showing the battery status, sometimes with a flashlight built in just because they can. This one is different and at 27000mAh (the maximum size allowed on board an airliner), it is bigger, heavier and more powerful and priced at £72.99 before discounts, it is rather more expensive.

In the rather disappointing mid market box is the power bank, a short USB-C to USB-C charging cable, and a simple but well written user guide. For a not inexpensive device with an exposed LCD screen, it is a pity that no storage bag was included. The build quality is all first rate, and this looks and feels like a high end piece of kit.

The device itself is simple enough, made from robust matt finished aluminium alloy with the ports and LCD screen all on one end together.
There are three ports - two USB-C and one USB-A.

The ports can be used in varying combinations at varying combined output levels to a maximum of 120W.

External device charging is not automatic. After connecting the devices, remember to press the power button on the front of the power bank. The colour coded backlit LCD screen displays the real time power bank battery level, the watts/volts/amps output reading for each port, the combined voltage and current, and the temperature. When charging the power bank itself, the watts/volts/amps and the remaining charging time and battery status are displayed.

At 27,000 mAh the powerbank is one of the most powerful and capacious available in a portable format and can charge a MacBook Air 1,4 times, an iPhone 15 4.8 times, a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 4.1 times and a Nintendo Switch 3.9 times. It supports PD3.1, QC 3.0 Fast Charging. It features smart power measurement to protect sensitive connected devices as well as the power bank itself from overcharging, overheating or other power related issues.
