Lula calls for BRICS response to US tariffs as pressure mounts on Russia, India, China

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva says he plans to reach out to India and China to coordinate a BRICS response to the sweeping US tariffs imposed under Trump. While Russia has been spared from the latest "Liberation Day" tariffs announced in April, the US continues to threaten sanctions on Russian oil partners, increasing pressure on its already sanctioned economy.
