When the Dinosaurs faded away, the Mesozoic finally came to a close, and the Cenozoic began. This period of time is often referred to as the age of mammals, but in some ways this title is wrong. As after the demise of the Dinosaurs, the largest and most successful predators on Earth were not mammals, but reptiles once again, this time in the form of terrestrial crocs known as the Sebecids.
