Today August 8 at 12:00 pm on OCP Bobby Cleveland and JJ Humphrey will be talking about the critical officer shortage in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. We have been calling out the inadequate staff for the past years but now Oklahoma Corrections has reached unimaginable insurfficiencent levels of Correctional Officers and staff. The number of inmate deaths and assaults are a direct result of the officer shortages. It appears inmate suicides have increased it seems suicide are due to the terrible conditions. The department is forcing officers to work at Red Rock and other facilities, thus, leaving other facilities in peril. We have received reports that JHCC doesn’t have case managers. The department is shaking up their administrative positions and as usual what Harpe does makes little sense. We are being told officers are quitting all over the state. Insane report received stating an AGCC Phycologist took 3 to 4 staff (nurses) hostage using a syringe. Possibly stabbed one of the employees. Now we are told the phycologist is back to work. How does an incident of this nature happen and remain unknown. We hear about three deaths across the state this week. No shortage of things to report.
