This Game Taught Me What It Means To Be Human

I played Slay the Princess expecting a clever little horror game with cool writing and some neat twists... Instead, I found one of the most emotionally complex, psychologically intense, and beautifully contradictory games I’ve played in years.

Don’t let the simple art style or small scope fool you, this game will challenge your assumptions, your empathy, and your understanding of what it means to choose. Sometimes it’s terrifying. Sometimes it’s tender. And sometimes... it makes you question who you really are, and who you’re becoming.

Chapters:
00:00 – INTRO
00:31 – THE BEAST & THE WILD
03:51 – THE SPECTRE
06:57 – THE DAMSEL
09:47 – THE STRANGER
12:46 – THE TOWER
15:18 – CHOOSING HUMANITY
18:27 – CONTRADICTION IS HUMAN
20:40 – OUTRO
