GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR ONES!!!
I find it really interesting how Amy shared about the story of Joseph Butler, who was a minister's wife, that stood up for the rights of poor women, women who were decent, but considered prostitutes are worse, because of their socioeconomic background, and how God used her to change things for the better. However, even today, there are legit issues of injustice and violence against women, especially within the body of Christ, that I believe we as Christians we are overlooking, because we're either too apathetic, scared, or ignorant of what God has to say on this issue. As such, we need to stop burying our head in the sand over it get involved and help those who are genuinely oppressed. I think that's why this first question from this morning's devotional is so thought provoking to be right now, and I had to share it. Please read this question very carefully, and I pray that God challenges you through it.

How does following God affect how you treat the weak and vulnerable?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me from His Word on this issue, through this blog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you listen and listen good. I believe for far too long we have been not doing our due diligence as Christians and helping the oppressed, especially those within the body of Christ, and it stops now. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that you'll act on it.

How might God use you to defend someone who's oppressed?

I urge you today, to ask God to show you, quaint you to those who are defenseless, powerless, vulnerable, and think nobody cares about them, and show them that you do. I especially challenge all those who know of someone who is in a toxic, abusive relationship, and you see the physical evidence of it, that you do something about it, and do so before that person winds up dead! If someone has confided in you that they are being abused, don't turn your back on them, but help them by getting them away from their abuser, and getting them the justice that they so badly need. You may think that you're one voice, one person, but God can still use you to make a difference. All you need to do is get your head out of the sand and do something!
