Hands-on test of DoubleTap Ammunition’s purpose-built defensive loads: a 55-gr .223 all-copper, 124-gr 9mm all-copper low-recoil load, 148-gr .38 Special controlled-expansion, and 140-gr .357 Magnum solid-copper. We ran accuracy strings, chrono/velocity checks, and ballistic-gel impacts to see real penetration, recovered-bullet condition, and practical performance for defensive and field use.
