In this video talk about how Trump placed a 39% tariff on gold bar imports from Switzerland. These gold bar tariffs are for the 100 oz and 1 kilo gold bars. Switzerland is one of the main places that the US gets their gold from. These gold bars are needed on the COMEX and this sent gold futures skyrocketing. Gold futures hit a high of $3,534 per oz setting a new record high. This is the highest that gold futures prices have ever reached in all of recorded history.
