No More Children
Maturity as my Top Priority
Text: Ephesians 4

Objective: that the Children of God may be matured the earliest possible time

Intro:
Read the whole chapter
picture of a matured person
spiritually matured: James 1:4, Matthew 5:48; 2Timothy 3:17

Characteristics of Children we must for go
1. Indecisive - v.14
"tossed to and fro"
a. realize that there are evil false teachers, false brethren, liars
2. Proud - v. 2 - instead have "lowliness and meekness"
3. Impatient - v. 2 - instead have "longsuffering", "forbearing"
4. No Unity - v. 3, 13 - instead work to "keep the unity" - One Lord, Faith, Baptism
5. Untruthful - v. 15 - instead "speak the truth"

Message/conclusion:

The Lord has given us a picture of a matured/perfect man.
Let's be no more children in the things that we should grow and be matured about.
