Chapter 18: New Devon:
Arriving at the overgrown pirate haven of New Devon, players explore lavish but decaying mansions once owned by the pirate founders. Platforming and puzzle-solving are key, as Nate and Elena search for clues while dodging traps hidden in the ruins. Hostile Shoreline mercenaries patrol the area, prompting intense gunfights in tight, destructible environments. The chapter ends with a tense cutscene revealing more about Sam’s situation and Rafe’s intentions. As they move from mansion to mansion, the truth about Libertalia’s bloody downfall begins to surface, fueling Nate’s determination to reach his brother.

Chapter 19: Avery’s Descent:
The tone shifts to dark and unsettling as Nate and Elena enter Henry Avery’s underground tunnels. Gameplay blends torch-lit exploration, environmental puzzles, and gruesome pirate death traps that require careful observation to survive. Encounters with Shoreline soldiers occur between sequences of platforming over deadly spikes, collapsing floors, and explosive hazards. The descent builds to a foreboding atmosphere, signaling that Nate is approaching the heart of Avery’s treasure hoard. Along the way, the macabre remains of Avery’s victims reveal the pirate’s ruthless paranoia and the cost of his greed.
