Foundational Black Americans (FBA) carved the road, bled for civil rights, and invented countless advancements in medicine, engineering, science, and space exploration—yet some African and Caribbean immigrants arrive in America, benefit from that foundation, and look down on the very people who paved the way. From math to medical breakthroughs, from traffic lights to blood banks, FBA contributions shaped the modern world. Yet, many immigrants proudly claim their heritage when they achieve greatness, but when crime strikes, their origins are erased and their actions are simply labeled “Black.” This segment exposes the duplicity, the cultural disconnect, and the reality that separation is about recognition and respect—not hate.
