Salzburg rest night

A long hard day in the saddle with every possible weather situation. The 400+ kilometer journey from Bratislava ended with our diversion to the German town of Berchtesgaden in the very late afternoon. Our mission having been completed there saw us ride back to a sunny but still wet Salzburg. Our Salzburg Hotel was very nice and once settled into the room with our bags and equipment we cleaned up and went walking to the local mall nearby.

A very nice and classy restaurant provided us with an excellent dinner. We slept well and woke up to steady rain. We would be off again towards the Austrian Alps regardless of the prevailing weather conditions. Our brief three day interlude of warm dry weather in Bratislava was well and truly behind us.
