The Digital Euro Is Coming — And So Is China’s Control Model

The European Union is preparing to launch its digital euro in October 2025.

Christine Lagarde, head of the European Central Bank, openly praised China’s system as the prototype:

“It is piloted on a fairly large scale in China, where it is of use and of service to all citizens…”

She continues:

“…If it is well done, and if it is well implemented, it would be of service to all (European) citizens…”

Translation: China was the beta test. Europe is next. What began with the digital yuan, mass surveillance, and social credit scoring is now moving west, cloaked in the language of “utility” and “public service.”
