Occam’s Razor Gardening, Cooking & Canning Ep 80

Welcome. Missed another zucchini and it over grew. In fact, the squash box has zucchini I’ve mistaken for winter squash and have let overgrow. My worst year for overgrown zucchini tells me growth is better than the prior 3 years.

The carrots are read for harvest. I probably have 10 days left or so before they want to bolt. The beans gave me just a handful again for supper. I don’t think I’m going to get to can beans this year.

The potatoes harvested yesterday were very healthy. At least 3 meals out of this one. The inground potatoes are doing well, and that soil is very dry with these conditions.

Butch the sunflower has started flowering on 2 of its other heads and the morning glories are flowering regularly.

I’ve buried the vines on the other pumpkin plants as one of them also was being attacked at the root. The other plant rebounded quickly. The first plant has root sign coming from the vine, so success! (look like)
