Whether Guilty or Not: Mercy – Psalms 6+7

Have you ever taken the time to really think about the concept of mercy? When I do a mental deep dive into the things I have done, the things I am capable of doing, I have to acknowledge that the depths of God's mercy are unquantifiable. His mercy goes far beyond anything I can know or understand. That being the case, Psalms 6+7 serve as a reminder of just how dependent we are on God's mercy. When we are being afflicted in any way, whether we are guilty or innocent, God's mercy is our hope. And for those of us who are Christians, it's also a divine promise.
