🌸 Learning to Bloom

Meera had always believed that she was not “good” at growing things. As a child, she had once planted a flower seed in a tin can, only to watch it wither away. Since then, she had convinced herself that gardening wasn’t for her.

One spring afternoon, while visiting her friend Ananya, Meera noticed the balcony overflowing with flowers, herbs, and even tomatoes.
“How do you do it?” she asked, amazed.

Ananya laughed. “I didn’t know a thing when I started. I just learned as I went along. Plants teach you patience.”

The next day, Meera bought a small rose plant from a roadside seller. At first, she was nervous—constantly worried about watering too much or too little. She read articles, watched videos, and even joined an online gardening group. Slowly, she began to understand the rhythm of nature.

Weeks turned into months. The first time the rose bush bloomed, Meera felt an unexpected sense of pride. It wasn’t just a flower—it was proof that she could grow, too.

She realized something important: sometimes, life is just like gardening. You don’t need to have all the answers before you begin. You plant the seed, you care for it, and in time—both you and the seed learn to bloom.
