AOTR Elevates Chaofeng Ge

Authors of The Resistance is elevating the heartbreaking story of Chaofeng Ge, a Chinese immigrant who died in ICE custody in Pennsylvania.

Chaofeng was detained by ICE and tragically passed away while in their care. His death highlights the ongoing crisis of medical neglect and systemic cruelty within immigration detention centers. Despite living in the U.S. for years, Chaofeng was subjected to a system that dehumanizes immigrants—especially Asian immigrants—and treats them as expendable.
