Unfortunately my old trail cam, the Compart T200 quit working on me, therefore I had to come up with an alternative camera. I have several Reolink Surveillance camera that I like, and Reolink had just recently come out with a new pan, tilt and zoom 4K camera, so I thought I'd give it a try. The Reolink Atlas PT Ultra is a 4K camera, with PTZ, motion detection, auto tracking, and ColorX Night Vision. It is also wireless with a solar panel, so it basically checked off all my boxes. I just had to see if my wifi signal would reach the camera when it was set up all the way in my back yard. And to my surprise, my Google wifi reaches it from 300 plus feet away, with no problem.

And to make it better, I can now watch live footage from the comfort of my couch, any time I want. The Compact T200, I had to wait to see the footage it had captured only after I retrieved the SD card out of it. So this camera is much more convenient in that regard. The only downside is I do not believe this Reolink camera captures as good of 4K quality video as the Compart did. But I think for everything else it does, it's good enough.
