Psalm 126 — Joy That Doesn’t Look Back

When Yahuah turns back captivity, it’s never just an open door — it’s the shutting of the old one for good.
When Yisharal left Mitzriyim, (Egypt) they didn’t just walk away… they watched the sea bury their pursuers. No more pounding hooves. No more glint of spears in the sun. No more waking up afraid.
Generations later, after Babylon, it was the same heartbeat — stepping back into the land He promised, knowing the long night had finally broken into morning.
And maybe you’ve felt it, too — chains you thought would never break lying in pieces at your feet. The sickness that once owned your days… gone. The shame that stalked your thoughts… silenced. The thing that hunted you? Dead and buried.
Lot’s wife stands as the quiet warning: don’t look back at the ashes Yahuah just pulled you from.
Psalm 126 is a song for that moment — when your tears turn to laughter, when your voice finds its song, and when you know deep down… you’ll never have to look over your shoulder again.
* Exodus 14:13 — “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the deliverance of Yahuah, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Mitsrites whom you see today, you shall never see again.”
* Deuteronomy 30:3 — “Then Yahuah your Alahim shall turn back your captivity, and shall have compassion on you, and He shall turn back and gather you from all the peoples where Yahuah your Elohim has scattered you.”
* Isaiah 35:10 — “And the ransomed of Yahuah shall return, and enter Tsiyon with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
* Jeremiah 29:14 — “And I shall be found by you, declares Yahuah, and I shall turn back your captivity, and shall gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, declares Yahuah.”
* Luke 4:18 — “The Spirit of Yahuah is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away crushed ones with a release.”
* John 8:36 — “If, then, the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
* 2 Corinthians 5:17 — “Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a renewed creature — the old matters have passed away, see, all matters have become renewed!”
* Revelation 21:4 — “And Alahim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.”
