Disney Plus and Hulu Streaming are joining

Article 508 Disney is shutting down the Hulu app.
They’re not killing the content—just the platform. Starting now and rolling out fully by 2026, Hulu shows and movies will live inside Disney+ as part of a single super app. If you’ve got the Disney Bundle, you’ve already seen the shift. But soon, all Hulu content will live under the Disney+ roof, and the standalone Hulu app will be gone.
This move is about simplicity. One app. One subscription flow. All your favorite content from both platforms, together.
Internationally, Disney’s phasing out the “Star” brand too—replacing it with Hulu in fall 2025. They’re streamlining the experience globally, with Hulu becoming the new home for mature content everywhere.
And no—this doesn’t mean you’re stuck with the bundle. You’ll still be able to get Disney+ and Hulu separately if you want.
