UN Security Council to meet over Israel’s plan to take control of Gaza City

The UN Security Council (UNSC) is set to hold a rare weekend session to discuss Israel’s plan to seize Gaza City.
Nations around the world have condemned the plan, saying it will only lead to more bloodshed.

Adnan Hayajneh, professor of international relations at the University of Qatar, said the upcoming meeting would likely produce little change.
