Israeli overnight attack on northern Gaza kills at least 4, injures several

GAZA, PALESTINE - JULY 31, 2025: At least four Palestinians were killed and several others injured Wednesday in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in western Gaza City, local health officials said. The house sustained heavy damage, complicating ongoing search and rescue efforts. A child’s body was recovered from the rubble after the building caught fire due to the strike. Wounded and deceased civilians were transported to Al-Shifa Hospital, according to medical sources. The Israeli army, rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, killing more than 60,000 Palestinians. The relentless bombardment has devastated the enclave and led to food shortages. On Monday, Israeli rights groups B’Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, citing the systematic destruction of Palestinian society and the deliberate dismantling of the territory’s health care system. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
