The truth isn't really "replacement theology", nor is it the theology of the primacy of the state of Israel as is so common in Evangelical Churches today. Ex 4:22 says 'Israel is My Son, even My Firstborn", and so it is. Natural Israel was only a figure that was meant to become one with the Type, but failed to fulfill its destiny when Messiah came.
