Basil Tahini Chicken Pitas

This was soooo good!

Ingredient list:
3 chicken breasts
Olive oil
Paprika
Salt
Turmeric
Za’atar
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 large tablespoon tahini
Fresh basil leaves
Garlic powder
Garlic cloves, sliced
Onion, sliced
Lemon juice

Chicken marinade:
Olive oil
Paprika
Salt
Turmeric
Za’atar
Marinate at least 1 hour.

Basil Tahini Sauce:
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 heaping tablespoon tahini
Handful of basil
Garlic powder
Lemon juice
Salt
Blend in food processor and set aside.

Preheat oven to 400°.
Drizzle your pan with olive oil. Slice onions and garlic as a bed for your chicken to bake on. Layer marinated chicken over the sliced onion and garlic. Bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Remove from oven and shred chicken and onion. Add the basil tahini and shredded chicken to warmed pitas. We served these with sliced tomatoes and rice.

I could eat this for a week straight. Enjoy!!
