6 shot, 1 fatally, in Chicago

A mass shooting on Chicago’s West Side early Sunday left one woman dead and five others injured.

Police found multiple victims at a large gathering near North Lacrosse Avenue around 3 a.m.

The 22-year-old woman who was shot in the back died at the hospital, while others, including three critically injured men and two treated for less severe wounds, were hospitalized, CBS News has reported.

No arrests have been made, and police have not disclosed a motive or if the incident is linked to a nearby shooting.
