Bobby Kennedy cancels research contracts for new mRNA vaccines.

While being fixated on the pro/con fight about the use of vaccines and their safety and efficacy, we’ve completely ignored possible alternatives. Part of Kennedy’s announcement was that BARDA would now support evidence-based, ethically grounded solutions – like whole-virus vaccines and novel platforms. What I think he’s saying without further alienating the pro vaccine gang, is it’s time to develop treatments that will help people and not just the industry producing them.
