Imogene Pass - Oct 2023 - Jeep Badge of Honor

This was on October 4, 2023. Starting where Camp Bird Mining Road intersects with Imogene Pass. There were signs saying the pass was open, but I eventually get stopped by another Jeep on the trail letting me know that eventually there are snow drifts that have closed the pass. Where the video ends was a nice viewpoint, and could have made it further on the trail, but was informed that viewpoint was the only good turnaround spot prior to the snow drifts. He mentioned there were SXS tracks attempting to plow through the snow drifts but were not successful. This was my second attempt at trying to go from one end of Imogene Pass to other, and could not. First time was the bridge by Telluride was being rebuilt, and this time snow drifts. Maybe the third time, whenever that will happen, will be successful?
