Friendly Smile (Drawing Midna! Timelapse)

Needed to get some fanart done, fell to my usual safety net and drew Midna....again. But this time, I felt like doing some pixel art for practice. I admit, pixel art is fun to do! Relaxing even. I quite like how this turned out, but this blasted helmet was a NIGHTMARE to draw. I hope that whoever thought to design this thing never ever finds a matching pair of socks in his life.

It was a fun experiment honestly. I like doing pixel art every once in a while, it's fun and it's refreshing to not have to care about the uber detailed shading! Although I will repeat, screw this helmet and whoever designed it. It's a nightmare, a pain, agony even! Midna, why are you so hard to draw?

The rest of the pic went smoothly. Had a bit of trouble with the background but that was about it really! This was done in about 2 hours with no 3d posing done prior, only references!
