Hole Digging Master | A Hole Lot Of Mining

My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out a bite sized little mining game called Hole Digging Master on the Playstation This game was developed and publised by Nostra Games, who also released the Multiplayer Racing Game Rush Only Up Multiplayer on Steam

Hole Digging Master follows an amateur Miner, who decides to turn his backyard into a mineshaft, as he digs to the center of the earth in search of fortune and glory, armed with nothing but a battery powered shovel and his trusty Jetpack. The gameplay loop is simple but incredibly addictive, with you digging through the depths to fill your backpack with valuable minerals and flying to the surface to exchange them for more powerful mining tools, and deployable items like mining lamps and dynamite which youll use to blast your way through obstables. As you progress further into the depths youll find more valuable resources like copper, silver and platinum, which can be used to upgrade your mining equipment to make your excavation efforts even more efficient. In addition to valuable minerals, observant players can find mini dungeons where you can find artifacts based on pop culture games and movies as well as dinosaur bones which you can use to build your own dinosaur exhibit in your shed.

Hole Digging Master is influenced by the popular Steam Game "A Game About Digging A Hole" and makes several additions for the player to add some variety to the mining experience. While this game may not appeal to hardcore simulation enthusiasts, its a fantastic option for those looking for a casual mining game you can finish in a few hours. Best of all the game is an absolute steal at only $8 Australian.
