The Relay Lyric Video

Hey Fam, Friends, and Fans.

This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to the lyric video for "The Relay."

This is one of the newer songs that were recently written for this album. "The Relay" is about the race we all run through life, from generation to generation. I grew up in the United States, so the only nation I can really discus is America because of that. I'm sure other nations have their issues, but the issues I'm most familiar with are the issues of my own country.

Observing the nation and the generations since my youth, it took me decades to really put things into a proper perspective with all my observations and information I've gathered through time. In order to reach a proper conclusion, we have to take everything we've seen, heard, and learn, and take time to process it all away from outside influences.

My conclusion is that we have all been fighting a spiritual war this whole time, and most people didn't even know it. They still don't. Even the people who attended church didn't realize, some didn't even care, the level of spiritual deceptions that were taking place on their watch. It's so bad that the younger generations feel betrayed.

There is a lack of wisdom and a lack of spiritual discernment, especially within the church that we are on a very dark path. We aren't just watching the fall of an empire, we are watching the building of a darker, global empire, and there's nothing we can do to stop it.

Yes, as watchmen, we all failed the younger generations, but the truth is that we're still all in this together. It's time to stop fighting, and time to get our heads and our hearts straight. It's time to acknowledge the Truth of YHVH and our past, as well as come to a real understanding of the direction is going.

Look out for one another, and continue to work out your own salvation. The one who endures to the end shall be saved, but we must continue to lift up others and not continually tear each other down. Don't give up, and don't give in.
