On August 12th, we honor the life and service of William Goldman (1931–2018) — acclaimed American novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. Known for Marathon Man, The Princess Bride, and Academy Award–winning screenplays for Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) and All the President’s Men (1976), Goldman also proudly served in the U.S. Army.
