This week, Mike McClung continued his review of the Overcoming Life series with Part 6, "Training to Rule". In our culture, many ignorant people (and some ignorant Christians) think the bible says not to "judge". This is nearly the opposite of the truth. Though the bible makes it clear we are not to condemn anyone (because only the Lord knows all of the facts), we are commanded to judge righteously, just like Jesus did. This means to expose and rebuke sin and lies, from a heart of love. We are also supposed to avoid hypocrisy by judging ourselves first, and conforming our lives to the Word of God, through the Holy Spirit. Real, Godly judgment comes from the heart of our Father because it removes hindrances and brings people into alignment with Him.
