The National World War 1 Museum in Kansas City recently unveiled a new exhibit called Encounters which has actors portraying real people from history reciting or narrating their words from journals or letters.

It is definitely a unique experience, unlike any I have seen in a museum before. They play with shadows and lighting as part of the exhibit, but I also think they could tweak it a bit to enhance this already interesting exhibit.

It shows pilots, a U-boat Captain, a Harlem Hellfighter, a nurse, a soldier in the trench, and more.
