Heaven is what blocks the light from the sun it rotates behind the ball first it's body gets hidden then it's light by the heavenly sphere. The higher you go the further you see up the hills on all sides till heaven's sphere blocks the land from being seen continuing to rise but the view is blocked by the heavenly sphere. You can see it's curved outline in the blackness above the visible land the land seems flat but it's curved up all around.
