Four second-year students from the Ural Advanced Engineering School (UPISH UrFU) completed an internship at the airline's Aviation Technical Center.

Recall that on July 8 Ural Airlines signed a cooperation agreement with UrFU, and already on July 14 the first group of interns arrived.

Under the mentorship of the outstanding engineer with many years of experience and deep knowledge, Yuri Gennadievich Popov, senior instructor of the aviation training center, the interns familiarized themselves with the theory, studied the equipment, including the engine design, and practiced independently removing and installing aircraft units.

Before the internship began, the students were given safety training and provided with special work clothing for the production environment.

“We introduced the students to some of the aircraft component maintenance processes. As part of their independent work, they replaced the air extraction valve and the compressor blade pitch control drive under the supervision of a certified engineer. Before that, they were presented with some engine design elements, the procedure for accessing documentation (work execution technology), as well as the paperwork after completing maintenance,” shared Yuri Gennadievich.

After completing the internship, the most successful students may be offered a traineeship at Ural Airlines with subsequent employment.
