Investigative Report:Why are the Amish moving out of New York State? Is it school vaccination rules?

Recently I became aware that large numbers of Amish are moving out of New York State from my neighboring county of Allegany. Is this just a random event, or are political changes in the increasingly progressive state driving this change?

I discovered that in 2019 New York eliminated the Religious Exemption from vaccine requirements to attend school and even Amish schools were now required to have all children vaccinated. This goes against the Amish deepest religious convictions.

Since I have less than 100 subscribers to my Substack, I thought I would also do a video about this issue to help spread the word on this important issue. In my research I discovered that the Amish filed suit in 2023 against the NYS Health Department (Miller vs McDonaold) and have recently filed an appeal to the US Supreme Court on this case.

So far, however, there has been very little coverage of this important case about religious and medical liberty, so I am doing my part to try to give it a wider distribution.
