WWF Philadelphia Spectrum May 05 1984 **NOT ON PEACOCK**

This is a monumental card, as we see several "firsts" here in 1984 WWF. Buzz Sawyer makes his televised debut, and if my memory is correct, he won't be here long. Also, we see Tito Santana and Greg Valentine kick off a memorable feud for the IC title. I'm willing to be corrected, but I believe this was the first time we see Hulk Hogan's new belt. That hideous green belt that had been in use for less than two years has been replaced by a championship that was similar to belts used by other top territories. Lastly, we see Lord Al Hayes debut as a color commentator. He's been seen as a stick-man at MSG, but not as an actual member of commentary. He fits in quite well with Dick Graham at the desk. Don't you love it fans? I mean, don't you REALLY love it? 😎
