Before You Confront Anyone… Watch This First

Confrontation is not a license to be a jerk.

I know that sounds obvious, but here's what happens: the moment we talk about boldness or courage, our flesh wants to take control. Suddenly, confrontation becomes about venting anger or proving we're right.

That's not Kingdom courage — that's pride dressed up in Bible verses.

Before you confront anyone about sin, injustice, or destructive behavior, you need to check your heart first. Because the way you see that person in your heart will shape everything you say and do.

In this video, you'll discover:

• Why your mental picture of someone determines if your confrontation will succeed or fail
• The one question you must ask before confronting anyone (most believers skip this)
• How to tell if you're confronting from faith or from wounded pride
• What it really means to have "clean hands and a pure heart" when speaking truth
• Why some confrontations look like victory while others end in apparent defeat — and why both can be wins

Here's what I've learned: if you can't picture someone restored, you're not ready to confront them yet. Your heart isn't aligned with His.

Human relationships aren't chess games where you just win and walk away. Every person is a living soul God cares about deeply. When we confront, we're stepping into sacred territory.

You can be bold and still have a pure heart. You can confront hard things without carrying bitterness. But it requires letting the Holy Spirit search you first.

Because if the Spirit's not leading your confrontation, you're just swinging a sword in the dark — and you might wound the wrong person.

This is the foundation for everything we'll cover in this series on confrontation. We're talking about love first, faith always, and obedience over outcome.

When you hold people in God's image instead of your own resentment, your courage isn't just noise. It's Kingdom courage.

Watch this video to learn how to check your heart before you confront anyone. Your relationships depend on it.
