International condemnation at Israel's murder of four Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza.
And it is not the first time. Israel has killed at least 237 media workers since this so-called war began.
But these and other killings before have gone unpunished.
So, what does this impunity mean for journalism?

Hundreds of people have joined solidarity protests in New York, over the killing of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli army.
Protesters demand that US media organizations express more condemnation against Israel.

Protests have been held in Mexico City, denouncing Israel's killing of Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza.

Media professionals and civil society members gathered outside Islamabad Press Club to protest Israel's targeted killing of Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza, including Anas al-Sharif.
Demonstrators condemned what they described as Israel's "live-streamed genocide", noting over 250 journalists have been killed since October 2023 alongside medical staff and aid workers.
Speakers accused the international community of complicity through its silence on these alleged war crimes, while condemning Israel's use of starvation as a weapon.
The protest specifically denounced the recent killings of Al Jazeera journalists as part of what participants called a "Holocaust" against Palestinian media workers.
Participants emphasized that these deaths represent systematic targeting rather than accidental casualties in the conflict.

Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder reports from Islamabad, Pakistan.
