Astoria In Queens, NY Walking Tour

This is Astoria, Queens and I filmed this walking tour video last year in May 2024. Astoria is a neighborhood in Queens, NY located on the northwest side of the borough and it's pretty close to both Manhattan and the Bronx. Astoria is bounded with the East River and is bordered with neighborhoods like Long Island City, Sunnyside, Woodside, and Jackson Heights. The neighborhood has four small subdivisions like Queensbridge Houses with Long Island City, Dutch Kills, Astoria Heights, and Ditmars Steinway. There are plenty of things to do in Astoria like visiting the Noguchi Museum, Astoria Park, Socrates Sculpture Park, Museum of the Moving Image, Kaufman Astoria Studios, and bowling in Bowl 360 Astoria.

There are plenty of ethnicities that live in Astoria home to Greeks, Arabs from Egypt and the Middle East, Irish-Americans, Italian-Americans, some Albanians, Armenians, Hispanics/Latinos (such as Colombians, Ecuadorians, Mexicans etc.), some Chinese people that also live there now, and since it's a trendy area, there's wealthy hipsters around the neighborhood that you will see when you visit there. Besides Astoria being trendy and attracting people moving in from Manhattan, Bronx, and some parts of Brooklyn, it's also gentrifying. Reports of the annual income and median incomes are increasing pretty big up to $95,000 a year for those who have that kind of money for their working salary. There's tons of great restaurants to check out, dine in, eat some food there, and just experience it for yourself. There's even creative art graffiti and murals in Astoria that you can see how amazing they are. More of Astoria would include cafes, Greek Orthodox churches, Greek restaurants, several bars, Italian restaurants, bakeries, and some events. The LaGuardia Airport is not too far from Astoria by driving and it's pretty close on its east side.
