In today’s video, I’m reacting to Decoy Voice’s explosive coverage of the Glass House Farms ICE raid, where over 300 undocumented workers were arrested and 14 children—as young as 14—were rescued from apparent child labor and trafficking conditions at a California cannabis facility.

Things escalated quickly—protesters threw rocks and one reportedly fired a gun at ICE agents, prompting an FBI investigation and a $50K reward. In response, California Gov. Gavin Newsom called the operation “chaotic” and accused federal agents of targeting kids with tear gas and “fraught tactics”

I stand firmly behind ICE—this wasn’t a “show of force,” it was a critical rescue effort uncovering child exploitation. I'm equally critical of the violent protester who pulled a gun—no one should target agents doing their job. And yes, I’m calling out politicians like Newsom and Bass for weaponizing the story—this was about rescuing children not scoring political points.

ICE and DHS detained 319 undocumented individuals during the Camarillo raid—the second-largest worksite raid in recent history.

14 children were found working on-site, triggering immediate investigations into child labor and trafficking.

Protesters clashed, throwing rocks, tear gas was used, and one individual allegedly opened fire at agents, prompting a $50K FBI reward.

Gov. Newsom lambasted the raid, describing children “crying…running from tear gas” and criticized it as irresponsible. Mayor Bass reinforced sanctuary policies and criticized the raid.

Child safety first – This raid rescued exploited minors, not attacked families.

Law enforcement should be respected – Agents risked their lives; shooting at them is criminal, not protest.

Stop politicizing rescues – Newsom and Bass turned a child-protection operation into political theater.
