Straight Ahead Lyric Video

This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to the lyric video for "Straight Ahead."

I have found that the more carefully you read the Scriptures, the more the details start to paint an entirely new picture compared to one that non-believers and the unlearned see. Take the book of Psalms, for example. There are specific Psalms that are known as "Messianic Psalms" because they directly describe events that later happened to Christ.

If you pay closer attention, however, most of the Psalms are so deep and heartfelt that I would argue that most of the Psalms are Messianic Psalms. If anyone ever wonder the things Christ prayed about, you need only read the Psalms, most of them would fit with everything Yehoshua endured during His time on Earth as a human.

Now, take that a step further and really read the Book of Proverbs.

One Proverb literally states that "I [Wisdom] was especially fond of the sons of men."

Christ is called "The Living Word." This isn't by accident, but by understanding and design. In fact, what was the very first thing that God did? He SPOKE, "Let there be LIGHT, and there was Light..."

"... and darkness has not mastered it..."

Christ is our Light. He was the original Light, and He will be THE SOURCE of Light in the future when the old heaven and earth are done away with.

It wasn't just a "Proverb" that stated "Do no deviate to the right nor the left." It was The Living Word. It was Christ Yehoshua. Therefore, following the path straight ahead, that "straight and narrow road" is not a suggestion, but a directive. It is a command.

But sadly, too many Christians have lost their focus on the Scriptures. There are too many false teachers teaching the false doctrines of the day. Too many people with itching ears straying from sound doctrine...

But He's been calling each of us this entire time!

"YOU! Don not follow the ways of the wicked! Do not stray to the right or the left! YOU! Follow the path straight ahead!"
