Fair Use IS Free Speech. Deal With It.

So many anti-AI people continue to deny the truth: that fair use is nothing more than protections of our basic fundamental right of free speech as guaranteed by the First Amendment. They HAVE to deny this, because they have to deny they're anti-free speech.

But if Supreme Court precedent doesn't convince you, if logic and reason doesn't convince you, why not hear it from scholars from days gone by? Especially in the late '90s, when the big fear was the passing of the DMCA.

As one such scholar put it: Fair use is the lifeblood of the First Amendment.
