🚨 Fox River Flood SITREP – Wisconsin

• Severe flooding in southeast Wisconsin (Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha counties) due to 4-14 inches of rainfall since yesterday. Fox River levels are critical, with a state of emergency in Milwaukee and flood warnings until tomorrow.

• Fox River at 7.05 feet (minor flood stage: 6 feet), expected to crest at 10.3 feet by 1:00 AM CDT, August 11, 2025 (major flooding). Impacts include flooded streets and homes.
— New Munster: River at 13.1 feet (moderate flooding), forecast to crest at 17.5 feet by August 14, 2025, affecting homes in Wheatland and Salem Lakes.
— Appleton: River at 5.8 feet (below flood stage: 9 feet), but lowland flooding possible.

• Impact and Safety:
— Numerous road closures (e.g., I-43, State Hwy 100, 175). Wisconsin State Fair closed. ~47,000 homes/businesses without power.
— Widespread basement/street flooding. Residents urged to avoid flooded roads and use non-emergency lines for reports.
