See Somethin', Say Somethin' (Nova Scotia Snitch Anthem)

Timmy says it's danger time,
The trees might burst in flame,
So keep your boots off public land,
You're the one to blame.

Don’t you dare go strollin’
Where the squirrels still roam,
This ain’t your daddy’s province now—
Big Brother’s in your phone.

See somethin’? Say somethin’!
Call it in, don't wait!
Snitch on folks just breathin’
Past the No Walkin' gate.

See somethin’? Say somethin’!
It’s the neighbourly thing to do,
Tell 'em Timmy sent you —
And maybe they’ll come for you.

Granny took her poodle out,
Just down that wooded trail,
Now she’s got a court date
And a fine she can't derail.

They saw her on the snitch line,
Said “Yeah, that one looks wild,”
Dangerous and reckless—
She even smiled.

See somethin’? Say somethin’!
Don't ask, just obey,
They’ll keep us all real safe now
By takin’ walks away.

See somethin’? Say somethin’!
Don’t think, don’t push back,
Report your friends and neighbours
For stepping off the track.

Freedom’s just a forest myth,
Now you better stay in town,
Sunshine and fresh air
Could bring the whole thing down.

There’s eyes behind the branches,
And orders coming through,
But set foot near a pine tree—
And maybe they’ll come for you.

See somethin’? Say somethin’!
Be proud to be a rat,
Tell on your own brother
If he walks where nature’s at.

See somethin’? Say somethin’!
It’s safety over soul,
And soon we’ll all be safe here
With no place left to stroll.
