Man charged with felony after allegedly whacking federal agent with sandwich

A man, Sean Charles Dunn, faces federal assault charges after allegedly throwing a Subway sandwich at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent in Washington, D.C. during a confrontation.

The incident occurred Sunday night near U Street, with Dunn reportedly shouting obscenities at the agent before forcefully hurling the sandwich.

He was arrested after fleeing the scene and admitted to the act, Fox News has reported.

Dunn is charged with felony assault on a law enforcement officer amid heightened federal police presence in the city.
