Passenger Sentenced for Threatening Virgin Atlantic Air Hostess

Salman Iftikhar, a first-class Virgin Atlantic passenger, was sentenced to 15 months in prison after making horrific threats against flight attendant Angie Walsh during a flight from London to Lahore. He threatened to gang-rape and set her on fire, even claiming to know her hotel room number. The incident caused Walsh severe trauma, forcing her to take more than a year off work. Iftikhar pleaded guilty to threats to kill and racially aggravated harassment. Virgin Atlantic condemned the behavior and reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy for abuse against staff.
