Gary’s professional career started in the long-term care industry
where he became a part-owner when the company expanded into multiple
locations and other affiliated businesses.
When the company was sold, he worked for some of the large national health
care companies that provided assisted living, home care, nursing home care,
subacute care and other health related businesses.
Eventually he left the for-profit health care industry and entered the field of
nonprofits which led him to working for an organization that provided assistive
technology programs and services for people with disabilities.
Retiring from that, he started a part time business as the US importer/distributor
for a line of ergonomic writing devices which he sold to other companies for
resale. Eventually passing that business on to his “best customer”, he went into
“real” retirement not knowing what would come next.
Several years passed, but a couple of months ago he was led to FROG Ministries
where it seemed his nonprofit background might be of help. Now as a volunteer
he shares FROG’s story, mission, and vision with the communities they are
serving and looking for additional opportunities to have greater impact serving
those in need.
