CNN Wonders If Guard Surge In Democrat-Run DC Is “Performative” Or “Authoritarian”

The talking heads at CNN are utterly clueless. This isn’t news — it’s filler dressed up as reporting. What happened to journalism that didn’t just sit around and chitchat?

Democrats have governed D.C. since 1973, creating the crime crisis they’ll never fix. The D.C. Council has also been overwhelmingly Democrat the entire time, with no Republican majority at any point.

CNN admits there’s a “surge” of National Guard troops, Humvees, and federal officers — calling it “really visibility” and “essentially a photo op.” One CNN correspondent even said they don’t know if it’s “deterring crime,” while another CNN analyst questioned if it’s “performative” or a “slow march toward an authoritarian move” instead of asking why decades of Democrat rule have left the capital a lawless, crime-ridden hellhole.
